“Running”
This is the real reason YouTube exists. If only we didn’t have to dig through so many layers of crap to get to the gold.
Shelton Films. Definitely worth a peek.

Re-Edited Version uploaded!
After watching it a few more times I saw some things that could’ve been done a lot better so…I redid it. I’ve re-upped this video and invite you to see it again and spot the changes. :D
…depressing video I’ve ever edited. Good grief. Grief…yep. That would be the running theme, lol. There are lots of movies out there with the whole “star-crossed lovers” theme but man…this one is eloquent. I loved this movie from the opening strains of music (mainly because it was David Bowie I think). Anyway…just finishing it and *choke* geez! Not the greatest thing to ‘concentrate’ into 4:07 minutes.
No more hints than that…hope to have it up in the next day or so.
Edited to Add Link: “My Last Breath”
You can’t beat the early 80′s for music videos. They just did it right back then.
Ever since I first heard about this (thank you Movie Maven!)…I have been dying to get a true glimpse at it…and now IT’S HERE! The trailer is UP!!! THANK YOU IGN.com! (And how creepy lookin’ is the Red Queen!? ACK!!! lol!)

It’s gonna be a loooong wait though…but I think well worth it. Geez…who better than Tim Burton to bring this story TO LIFE! (I may never sleep again! *grin*) I mean, seriously…this is one hallucinogenic, drug fueled, fantasy trip. I’m not sure anyone BUT Tim Burton, with his very twisted sense of reality, could even begin to pull this one off! If the movie is as good as the trailer looks, then this will be an epic win for Burton. He just keeps getting better and better…

UPDATE: Now…if you had a movie that you wanted to generate interest in…say, something on the level of THIS ONE…wouldn’t you want all of the lovely FREE ADVERTISING that comes with viral marketing? I mean, say everyone loved your upcoming movie so much that they wanted to post it all over their own Youtube channels…you’d let them, wouldn’t you? I mean…if your head didn’t reside exactly inside your ass…maybe. But no. Disney is bent on world domination and total control and has severed all links to any Youtube uploads of “Tim Burton’s: Alice” and to that I say, I’M GIVING YOU FREE ADVERTISING ANYWAY!
I hope that the 13 people who frequent my blog will spend their hard earned $9.75 on your movie and enjoy it. I know I will…in spite of your anal compulsive ways. Forkin’ Disney. >:(
YER WELCOME!!
At some point…and I’m not sure what point that was, MTV went from ultra high art story telling entertainment to psychotic ADD programming, then, it went totally commercial and spawned the world of reality tv from which none of us have ever recovered. Reality tv is here to stay, unfortunately, because really, who can resist trainwrecks like “Wife-Swap” and “Dating in the Dark”?
However, before the advent of such disgraceful voyerism, there were videos like “Walking on Broken Glass”. I love Annie Lennox. There’s a woman who really “got it”. All of her videos tell a story, but then her music always tells a story too. Maybe it’s not a question of video making as much as it is a question of the quality of music. Hmm.
ANYWAY. Hope you enjoy to above video. I loved it when it came out in 1992…I love it still though I hadn’t seen it in over a decade. I love it even more now that I recognize two of the key characters in the video. Malkovich is obvious…but the big question is…what is House doing there? (Oh yes, Hugh Laurie fans, that is definitely him. If I had the time or the inclination, I’d make ”House” video and use Annie’s video for a dream sequence, LOL!!)
P.S. DJ Earworm did an AMAZING mashup of classic Annie tracks including Little Bird, SING, Why, No More I Love You’s, Shinging Light, Walking on Broken Glass and many more. Dude is amazing!!! And apparently, Annie likes his work so much, she’s featuring his video of her works on her YouTube site!
Yep…Annie Lennox. Layers upon layers upon layers of talent and creativity. She is forkin’ brilliant! And DJ Earworm’s video show’s that very, very well. :D
No pressure…LOL! (Even if it’s fake, it’s still fun.)
This one, however…
Is definitely real…made me tear up.
