Ever get the feeling that something isn’t quite right?
I had that feeling this morning, first noticed it as I was rushing out the door. Seems I’m always rushing somewhere – but that’s just the way it is for someone like me. You know, someone who generally lacks the ability to plan ahead.
So I’m hurrying my way out of the house, to the car, driving to work and there’s something nagging at me. I took a moment to really think about what it might be, then it hit me! My bra strap was all twisted up. Ain’t that a bugger.
The Ducks PASTED Cal! It was so…beautiful. *snif* I mean, Cal iswas ranked 6th in the Pac-10 (the crowd had a great time chanting “OVERRATED!”)…I was hoping we’d do well, especially after pretty much sucking the first few games, I just didn’t expect us to COMPLETELY ANNIHILATE THEM!!!
This morning, my eyes cracked open at 6:27am. This completely sucks because my alarm is set for the nice even, round number of 6:30am and there is no hope of peacefully slipping back into the quiet bliss of sleep because 3 minutes is only enough time to peek over the edge of conscienceness into slumberland before I am rudely slapped awake by the “BLEEP! BLEEP! BLEEP! BLEEP!” of my alarm clock. It’s a very stressful situation. So, I have few choices:
Try to fall back asleep only to have a freakin’ heart attack when my ninja alarm clock strikes,
hit the snooze button once, twice, three times only to fall back asleep multiple times thereby resulting in multiple heart attacks when my ninja alarm clock strikes…over and over and over,
lay there tensely waiting for the alarm to go off,
turn off the alarm and risk falling back to sleep for the rest of the morning,
decide it’s too stressful to start my day like this and just get up.
Of course, by the time I run through all my options, my 3 minutes are up and it’s 6:30- “BLEEP! BLEEP! BLEEP! BLEEP!” *groan* Read more…
По-настоящему красивый и уникальный вид искусства. Ксения Симонова в классе все сама.
Here, she recounts Germany conquering Ukraine in the second world war. She brings calm, then conflict. A couple on a bench become a woman’s face; a peaceful walkway becomes a conflagration; a weeping widow morphs into an obelisk for an unknown soldier. Simonova looks like some vengeful Old Testament deity as she destroys then recreates her scenes – with deft strokes, sprinkles and sweeps she keeps the narrative going. She moves the judges to tears as she subtitles the final scene “you are always near”.
I only have one question about the upcoming VMA’s and it’s almost as shallow as the VMA’s themselves:
Will Robert Pattinson seriously be wearing his hair like this?

(I don’t think I’ve ever been torn in so many different critiquing directions before!! I’m positively giddy! *big evil grin*)
Ahhh… spiky goodness…a.k.a. the perfect weapon for warding off crazy-ass fanpires.
He’s gonna need more than a one seat buffer to keep from putting someone’s eye out!
I bet you could fit a cozy little condo in that “do” of his. Well, maybe not an entire condo, but a nice little two-room flat at least!
Good to know that the hair-styling industry is being supported in these tough economic times…of course, looks like that can be credited entirely to Robert Pattinson.
Dude, you are just one step away from becoming Phyllis Diller. I am totally serious.
Also, looks like Gerard Butler will be sitting next to…Katy Perry? THAT ought to be interesting. Hope Butler manages to escape unmolested…or, should Katy be the one worrying about that? Either way, they both should keep one eye on Pink even though she’s in front of them (ya…just look at that cheeky grin of hers…you just know she’s an instigator)! LOL!
The original short film by Shane Acker, in celebration of the full length movie premiere today, the 9th day of the 9th month of the 9th year of the current century. Maybe I’ll go to the 9 o’clock showing. Heh. ;)
