2010 Census breaks up with ACORN
ACORN UPDATE! (Big thanks to michellemalkin.cachefly.net)
ABC is the only major network (other than FOX who has been following this since yesterday morning) reporting on this right now.
The Census Bureau has CUT TIES WITH ACORN! Check out the .pdf copy of the letter by Robert M. Groves (Director) to the president of ACORN in which he states:
“Unfortunately, we no longer have confidence that our national partnership agreement is being effectively managed through your many local offices. For the reasons stated, we therefore have decided to terminate the partnership.“
Cynicism Alert: Look for the “rebranded” ACORN coming in the near future, because, the big problem with corrupt organizations like ACORN is once you flip on the light, it’s members/contributors scatter…like cockroaches…only to infest another dark, dank place that no one is looking at where proceed to rebuild their numbers and reach their greedy antenna ever further to gain whatever it is that they want with little regard for those they infect.
P.S. Still waiting for this story to hit the major networks…what exactly are they waiting for?
Feel like calling them up? Ha ha! You can’t because they assume you have the intelligence of a turnip. They unlinked their address pages from the “Contact Us” page…here’s the secret handshake if you are so inclined:
http://www.acorn.org/contactus/state.php?st=
After the = sign at the end, put in your state’s two letter designation, example: =GA
Finished link: http://www.acorn.org/contactus/state.php?st=GA
ETA: I have been informed that at least the Georgia phone numbers and fax lines have been disconnected.
I have a feeling this is going to get very interesting before it’s over.
