Tasty tidbit of cinema info…
Seems that Anne Rice’s “The Vampire Chronicles” is officially coming to the big screen again! (Now THAT, my friends, is a serious vampire series – none of that sparkle in the sun shiz!) And it is rumored that none other than Robert Downey Jr. is in talks to play Lestat (move over Tom Cruise…you’re about to be “remade”! HA!)!
I have to say though, I never quite recovered from Gary Oldman’s portrayal (Bram Stoker’s Dracula…obviously a different book/movie, completely riveting and why exactly haven’t I made a video for this movie yet!?!).
Can’t imagine what Ironman would be like, Oldman was plenty devastating, both are quite excellent actors…
They may as well start handing out the oxygen masks now…

You and I are on the same wavelength. Especially if you’re doing the later books in the Rice series — Lestat needs some heft and panache, which RDJ has in spades!
